Save energy with busbars!

How much energy is wasted unnecessarily in electrical systems?

⚡Sunday 16 February was the International Day of Energy Saving, created to reflect on all those actions, large or small, that can help reduce energy waste.

If we talk about technologies capable of optimizing and reducing energy consumption, the busbar system also offers a small contribution in this regard.
In fact, busbars are confirmed as an energy-efficient solution, as they use energy better and make systems more sustainable, minimizing electricity waste compared to traditional cables.

Making better use of the electricity we consume is important. How does this process take place?

We talk about it in this carousel!

The earth trembles:

You know, these events do not warn, and in an instant everything could stop… lights off, machinery blocked, safety of people compromised.

The vibrations of an earthquake put every component of an electrical system to the test. To avoid damage, even very serious damage, busbars must go through rigorous tests that prove their resistance to stress, even the most violent.

BUSBAR DUCTS: what makes installation easier?

BUSBAR DUCTS: what makes installation easier?

When installing a busbar system, there are some features, technical and otherwise, that can make all the difference, to make the job faster and easier. This is not only in the initial assembly phase, but also with a view to possible future actions, such as modifications or extensions of the system.

Different types of busbar!

How many types of busbars are there ❓

♀️ Busbars are practical and versatile solutions for distributing electricity in very different structures, which is why they are highly appreciated and in demand in the electrical sector.

We can classify them according to several criteria, including first and foremost their CAPACITY:

Aluminium Benefits vs Steel – Corrosion Resistance

Why choose ALUMINIUM❓ BUSBAR

CORROSION RESISTANCE is the theme of the second episode of this column, in which, like every hashtag
hashtagmartedì, we explain the many advantages of aluminium.

1️⃣ aluminium has an excellent resistance to corrosion, higher than steel (which has a shorter life cycle), and this is because aluminium protects itself: the presence of chromium, in fact, causes a very thin protective layer of oxide to form on its surface.
… while steel, which is easily prone to rust, needs an additional painting process to prevent corrosion.

2️⃣ our busbar ducts with an external aluminum casing have an EXCELLENT RESISTANCE-PRICE RATIO, as well as a longer life cycle: aluminum is in fact considered the cheapest metal that has a high resistance to corrosion.

3️⃣ In the presence of salty air, which is loaded with chlorides, metals such as steel are easily subject to corrosion, while aluminum, thanks to its resistance to rust, is almost completely immune to its corrosive effects.
