When tasked with providing power and lighting infrastructure for a major warehouse development, Graziadio delivered a complete busbar solution designed to meet both operational requirements and demanding project timelines.
The Challenge
The project required a system capable of:
- Providing lighting across a large warehouse facility.
- Distributing power throughout a building measuring more than 100 metres in length.
- Supplying a refrigerated warehouse area with a reliable, high-capacity power feed.
To ensure the solution was tailored to the site’s specific requirements, our UK sales team conducted an initial site visit before being joined by a technical engineer from Italy as the project progressed towards order confirmation.
The Solution
Graziadio supplied:
- 4,000 metres of 25A 4-pole lighting busbar, available immediately from UK stock.
- Approximately 250 metres of 3200A sandwich busbar, providing power distribution between the main panel and sub-panel serving the refrigerated warehouse area.
This combination delivered an efficient, flexible, and robust infrastructure solution capable of supporting the facility’s lighting and power demands.
Meeting an Aggressive Delivery Schedule
With the order secured, speed became a critical factor. Our team worked closely with the customer to develop a phased delivery programme that allowed installation work to begin while the remainder of the system was still in production.
Phase 1: Supporting Early Progress
Panel feed units were prioritised and shipped within just three weeks of order placement, enabling panel builders to complete key connections ahead of the main busbar installation.
Phase 2: Rapid Design and Manufacturing
Within four weeks, the complete design package had been produced, approved and more than 60% of the project materials were delivered ensuring installation could continue without delay.
Phase 3: Completing the Project
Only 10 days after reopening following the Christmas break, the final shipment arrived on site. This delivery included a bespoke double elbow section, specially engineered to maintain the correct busbar orientation and phase sequence throughout the installation.
